Ensimmäinen ja suurin nukketaloni Ruusulinna on lähdössä ensimmäistä kertaa näytteille Lohjan museon kesänäyttelyyn. Kuljetusta varten talo piti tyhjentää, kaikki huonekalut ja pikkuesineet pakattava. Tuli siinä samalla korjattua matkan varrella särkynyttä, tehtyä perusteellinen inventaario - ja pyyhittyä pölyt. Nyt on talo lähes tyhjä.
My first and biggest dollhouse Ruusulinna (Rose Castle) will be on show for the first time ever next summer in Lohja museum. For the transportation I had to empty the house and pack all the furniture and accessories. While doing that I also rebuilt things that had got broken, made an inventory of everything there is - and cleaned all the dust. Now the house is almost empty.
Talon pihassa oli aikanaan puu. Olin tehnyt sen oikeasta puunoksasta, mutta vuosien kuluessa se kuivui ja hajosi. Nyt rakensin uuden ja tukevamman keinuineen ja lintupönttöineen, vielä kun löytyisi orava kiipeilemään.
The backyard used to have a tree but since it was just a branch of a real tree it dried during the years and got broken. Now I built a new sturdy one with a swing and birdhouse. I wish I'll still find a squirrel to climb on the branches.
Kirjastoon rakensin pienet siirreltävät portaat ylähyllyjä varten.
For the library I built a small portable staircase for the upper shelves.
